Whitehall Primary School Achieves the School Impact Award in Pupil Resilience!

We are delighted to announce that Whitehall Primary School has been awarded the Pupil Resilience Award recognising the school's commitment to helping pupils develop the confidence, emotional resilience and life skills they need to succeed.

The award follows a rigorous validation process which celebrated the positive impact of the school's work in promoting wellbeing, healthy relationships, emotional resilience and digital safety.

The validation report highlighted significant improvements across the school, including reductions in behaviour incidents, increased confidence among pupils to take on new challenges and growing levels of self-esteem. Staff also reported that children are becoming more resilient when faced with difficulties and are increasingly able to manage conflicts positively and seek support when needed.

Inspectors praised the school's work in helping pupils understand how to stay safe online and develop healthy attitudes towards social media and digital content. They also recognised the positive impact of emotional wellbeing support, including strategies that help children self-regulate, resolve conflicts and persevere when learning becomes challenging.

The report concluded that Whitehall Primary School provides excellent examples of how to monitor and evaluate the impact of wellbeing initiatives and recommended the school for accreditation.

We are incredibly proud of our pupils and staff for this wonderful achievement and would like to thank our families for their continued support. Together, we are helping our children develop the resilience and confidence they need to thrive both now and in the future!
