ELSA Support
Mrs. Choudhry is our school ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant).
ELSA sessions are structured and can potentially be up to six sessions, depending on need. Children are referred for ELSA support based on level of need and their response to any other interventions.
Further support for parents:
If you have concerns around your child’s mental health, please speak to your child’s class teacher. You are also able to discuss ELSA and MHST referrals with them.
Please see the link for a useful website, which gives advice for managing wellbeing-related needs in children: https://parentingsmart.place2be.org.uk/
Parent Workshops
We regularly host workshops for parents. Any information around further sessions will be communicated via Weduc.
Please see below copies of presentations from previous workshops, led by the school’s link Educational Psychologists.
