Dear Parent / Carer
We are so impressed with all of the writing that parents have been sending in. It is fantastic to see that you are supporting your children to continue with their learning under these difficult circumstances.
This week, we would like to give a focus to maths, so we are asking children to show us something they have been learning each day. We have included a grid that might be helpful, or children can use a double page of their book to set out their work. Please share this message with your child:

Hello Seals, Polar Bears and Penguins,
We are very impressed with all of the brilliant writing you have been sending to us! This week, we would like to see your maths.
We would like you to show us something you have done in maths for each day, Monday to Friday.
Every day you need to use some of the maths resources to practise your maths skills, then choose how to show us what you have learned. You could create a grid to include each of the 5 days, or you could use subheadings and create an information page with explanations and examples from each of the maths activities you have done.

Please continue to use the suggestions for english and maths. Check the twitter page and school website for new ideas. The core English book for Year 4, on Curriculum Visions, is excellent for comprehension activities.
